Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Good Morning Everyone !
So this morning I woke up to Cory telling me "the dogs went to the bathroom AND there's snow on the ground" .... Half of my expected it to be melted by the time I actually got out of bed, but of course I was crazy! I think this time it's here to stay, which only means I now have to teach my Cold Weather Whimpy Pug that snow isn't going to kill her and I have to leave at least 10 minutes earlier to work just so I'm not late. BUT it also means only a few more weeks and Cory Martin, Molly, and I will all be home TOGETHER for Chrismas this year! The thought alone actually puts tears to my eyes!!! I miss home and I miss my family and I REALLLY miss these two little munchkins!

Cute right :) little do they know, I might Have spoiled them a little this year :)

So as we get closer to Thanksgiving all of us start thinking about all the things we're Thankful for, and sadly a lot of people can't seem to think of a single thing and are just completely bitter about the whole holiday season, and I'm starting to find these people more and more at work. A friend reminded me lately that no matter how bad you think things may be alway remember they could be worse. Personally I feel I have more than ever to be Thankful for this year and I can't even begin to describe how excited I am for this holiday season! So for those of you who are unsure of what you have to be Thankful for, I'd like you to read this status of a friend of mine who works for the Government and helps supply for those who are less fortunate than us :
listening to christmas music and then i receive a phone call about someone complaining that they got a chicken and not a turkey and it made me think of this "Nothing has turned out as we expected! It never does. Life's under no obligation to give us what we expect. We take what we get and are thankful it's no worse than it is.” It makes me realize to just be happy for what i have!!

The quote says it all... Even those who are going this Holiday season with missing family members, deployed loved ones, or sick. Just remember it could always be worse, the ones who are missing ( by death) are in a far better place than we can ever imagin, they are no longer hurting or in pain, they are at rest enjoying the holidays with someone we could all only wish we got to spend it with... The lord. Those who are deployed are still alive, they may not be here but keep in mind they wish they were, do what you can to make them feel as much at home as possible, skype with them with the whole family around, becuase many of them haven't seen your loved one in months and visual proof they are doing ok sometimes is what family needs. Believe it or not there are soldiers who have NO ONE to talk to during the holidays. BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE, so many others have NOTHING! Not even a roof over their head let alone enough food to keep them full for weeks on end.

Happy Thanksgiving all!!
